About Dr. Davila

Dr. Javier Davila is a Yale trained plastic surgeon with a colorful background that allows him to bring a world view of aesthetic surgery into his practice. In addition to skilled hands and refined technique, his patients benefit from his keen eye for cosmetic balance. Born in a small town in Central America and the recipient of a superb liberal arts education (summa cum laude, Fordham University), he remains perfectly bilingual. He arrived in New Haven in 1992 to pursue his medical education followed by surgical training. Various research and clinical activities have taken him to Thailand, Nepal, Colombia and Brazil over the past fifteen years. For a chronology of his formal education and training see below.
