Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, consists of removing excess skin and/or fat from the upper and lower lids that cause a tired and aged appearance. Drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes can be corrected. Swelling and bruising can be expected for a few days after surgery. Most people feel ready to go out in public or back to work in a week to ten days.
